Challenge 23 DT Post for Creative Artiste "Young Futures"

It is that time again ...Challenge 23 for 

Creative Artiste Mixed Media

They love the beach and life and are very giving in all ways

so it is a pleasure for me to mirror such dedication

by devoting this months post to them.

It is also likely that next months post following special

celebrations will feature the same duo.

In the end, I used quite a few goodies from my

Scrapmatts stash but with so much to choose from it is hard

to restrain ones inspiration...So why try and limit it...

Unforgettable Memories

To start with I used texture paste to apply triangles to

the canvas board and once dry, by turning the ink pad

upside down and rubbing over the stencilled texture

coloured it with Victoria Velvet.

Over this I stencilled with one of the NEW A4 Circles Stencils and

applied a clear gesso over it so the underlying colours were not obscured.

With Brilliance Inks & Glimmermist I added colour to the background

as well as the numerous chipboard pieces.

The central highlight of the canvas is a photo that I cut to fit the

Ornate Frame 01 which was also coloured with ink.

Once all the elements were coloured and positioned as I

wanted them they were glued.

With the exclusion of the photo, the entire canvas was dusted with

Gold Perfect Pearls using a paintbrush.

This made the whole canvas glow.

It didn't take me long to find yet another perfect title for this

creation from the extensive selection of Scrap Words and

splitting this top & bottom framed the central piece.

Wow wow wow nearly 600 face book likers

Hello Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors...

Wow wow wow is all I can say to all you lovely people that like my page... Thank you one and all... I never thought in my wildest dreams that after 5 more people like my page, I will have over 600 likers of my page Wheelie Crafty Designs!!!

I have been struggling with life this month as we have a lot of family issues happening...

The Doctors have been changing my Anti depressant medication as well as my anti seizure medication

I have been suffering severally with Anxiety, and can't sleep at night.

I think it is from a mix of happenings.  

So today I have just looked back on all the lovely likers on facebook and supported me through my craft journey

So I hope you all like it...

Good morning to all my Crafty Friends and Followers and Visitors...

I have also been busy creating saleable items as I have been ask to

This month I created a Canvas as my DT project, it is a 

commissioned piece...

The Canvas is titled Sisters Forever 

The products I used this month on this Canvas are as follows,
